Introduction
One entry point to nebflow: talk to Nebula, and it turns a task into delivered work on a project graph.
nebflow is a local AI agent that runs on your machine. It is built around a single idea: you talk to one agent, and it does the work — nothing to wire up by hand.
One entry point
Everything starts with Nebula, the orchestrator you talk to in plain language. You describe what you want; Nebula understands it, coordinates the work, and reports back. Behind it, real work happens in projects.
How work gets done
- A task is the only way project work begins — describe the outcome, and the task becomes a project
- Each project has a task dispatcher: it splits the task into nodes, wires the edges between them, and collects results as they flow back along the graph
- The graph is the plan of record, visible and rewirable on the Flow Map while work runs; any node can be adjusted in place with NodeEdit without re-running what already finished
- Every node runs the same
generalbase agent — its capabilities come from the plugins assigned to it - Long-running work is supervised: a watcher keeps an eye on it, the dispatcher does first-line self-healing, and Nebula is the backstop
The concepts, at a glance
| Concept | What it is |
|---|---|
| Architecture | The panoramic view: the entry point, the trigger, the dispatcher, and the supervision tree |
| Sessions | The unit of execution — one conversation carries a task end to end |
| Task Dispatcher | Splits a task into a graph of nodes and turns them back into a finished result |
| Plugins | One protocol for every capability an agent can have — injected skills and the resources they reference |
| Specialized Agents | A small config, a prompt, and the right plugins make a scoped specialist |
| Device Interconnect | Pair your machines; agents pick which client runs the work |
| Friends | Add people by Username or email; your agents can pass messages across the two accounts |
| Dev Server | Long-running background processes that start and stop with the client |
| Memory | What Nebula keeps across sessions, updated through MemoryEdit |
| Sandbox | The fence around every execution — writes stay in the workspace |
Who is nebflow for?
nebflow is for anyone who needs a capable agent to carry real work through to a delivered result — developers, researchers, analysts, and writers.
