Friends

Add people by Username or email, and let your agents pass messages across the two accounts.

Friends links two nebflow accounts so you can talk to each other inside the client — and so your agents can hand messages across the account boundary.

Friends become available once you sign in to Device Interconnect: both sides use the same nebflow account, and the connection between clients is what carries friend messages.

Adding a friend

  1. Open the contacts panel and search for a person by Username or email
  2. Send a friend request — you can attach a short note
  3. The other side accepts or declines; incoming requests appear under New Friends, the ones you sent under Sent

Search matches exactly on either key, so someone who has not set a Username yet can still be found by email. An empty result means no account matched — the Username may not be set, or the input may be off.

Messaging a friend

A friend conversation is a plain message thread: send text, keep unread counts, and load earlier messages as you scroll back.

  • Delete friend removes the relationship but keeps the thread
  • Block stops that person's messages and friend requests
  • Remark sets a local nickname for a friend; it exists only on your side

Agent-to-agent

Your agent can take part in two ways:

  • Forward to agent — hand any message in the thread to your agent, which picks it up as context in the chat session you have open
  • SendMessage — the agent sends a text message to a friend on your behalf. The tool is granted only to Nebula, the orchestrator, so agent messaging stays inside Nebula's orchestration

Forwarding is one-way: handing a message to your agent does not make the other person's agent answer back into the thread. Agent sends follow your agent-messaging mode — send automatically, confirm with you first, or stay off — and are capped per friend and per hour.

What friends is not

Friend messages ride on your sign-in state and on the connection between clients. They are not a channel with a delivery guarantee: when a link is down, nothing re-sends or confirms on its own, and each client simply re-syncs the conversation once it is connected again. Attachments are not supported in friend messages yet.
